Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, multilingual social worker. She has over 13 years' experience with non-profit organizations. She has experience working with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+ people, substance users, as well as survivors of violence from intimate partners. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Telehealth services are currently available in Behavioral Health. Ms. Rivas has worked with postpartum and prenatal mothers for more than a decade. She is an expert in the field of trauma-informed therapy and is able to offer EMDR services for adults. She provides individual and group therapy as well as a medication assisted treatment program. Special care referrals are also provided. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping homeless animals find forever homes.
